Dear God,
Please get me the fuck out of my job and find me a better one. I know you're busy but come on let's face it, you're always busy. It's not like you have a quiet day where you can sit out on the back porch on your lawn chair with a Guinness and OH JESUS WHY DID YOU DO THAT GOD! Just as I was writing this entry my supervisor came over to my desk and started talking to me and I didn't minimize this screen! Oh well I don't think he saw what I was writing but just look at that opening line, there is definitely a possibility he saw it. You know what, I don't care. You're a funny one though always with the practical jokes like making my birthday the most depressing day of the year.
Can someone with a barrel full of cash or monkeys come swoop me away and give me an interesting job. I don't even need that much more money and I am willing to work but I want something that utilizes my skills and creativity.
Is there anyone out there? God? Jesus? Moses? Uncle Moishe?
Why do we pray to dead people? I think if we prayed to people who were actually alive standing there in front of us you could get a lot more accomplished. I mean imagine someone drops to your feet and begins to pray to your name? You would probably be so taken aback you would grant them at least one or two of their wishes.

i just want to tell you how lucky you are to even have a job. i google searched "someone please find me a job", thats how desperate i am right now.. and i found your ungrateful bullshitting... i have a degree in animal sciences as well as a degree in biological sciences.. i just moved to florida and cant find a fucking job that will pay me anything more than minimum wage.. so please dont god that and god this.. be grateful for what you have..
and listen to your friends.. if art is what you are into.. do it.. photography? get into a photography contest.. get recognized.. dont settle, and just be grateful for what you have now..

I just wanted you to know that after 15 years with the same company I lost my job. You are so lucky to have one. I've been searching for almost two months now and financially we are spiriling downhill. So I know you hate your job, I hope you find a new one before you loose the one you have. 09Feb UK time: Boy do I wish I had read this blog in April. The lady that said don't resign unless you have a job... well, like Mr- probably 5 years ago now-Blogger, I really had had enough of my job. Well not my job, I loved my job but the change of Director was way too much. For various reasons I've ended up with loans and back at my ma's (yes I am v. grateful) at 44 yrs old and looking for a job. I know I'll get one becos if necessary i'm prepared to do the jobs other people wouldn't even look at and to be sure i'll adjust my CV and remove my quals. The worst bit is this inbetweeny phase where a job hasn't popped up and like the rest of you despaired and typed in this phrase. Tomorrow my friend and I are meeting for a jog. Apart from this morning, it's years since I jogged. Our efforts could best be described as a stagger. But, when we finished, I actually felt like I'd achieved something and it gave me confidence to think that things will get better. Tomorrow we're going to jog a bit further and when I get to smiling again (for some reason i seem to have lost my sense of humour)then I'm going to walk into every employment agency in the surrounding 20 miles until someone gives me a job. I'm going to go round them all in a loop and one of them is going to see my determination and find me a job if one hasn't popped up before then. I hope all of you who wrote are getting on OK and anyone who finds this next; Stay strong, have faith and never, ever give up hope.

I just googled please find me a job. I have been out of work for 2 years. I have no income and, even worse, no health care. I am willing to do almost anything (but apparently so are many other people, including things I am not yet ready to consider). Hate your job, cry about it, curse it but keep it. You have no idea how bad it is out here.
Join the club. I was forced to leave my job right before Thanksgiving because I had to deal with a knuckle-head supervisor. After 8 months, I am still seeking employment desperately. I have to wonder if I am paying for my deeds by quitting. Thanks to my inconsiderate supervisor that caused me to be jobless today. Sometimes, I become so frustrated that I am ready to lock myself up in a hole but that would be worse. I feel that I am too old and no one would give me a job. I have a degree in Technology and 10 plus years of experience in legal/administrative and some technical background.

I would have never thought I would be in a situation like this. I am so desperate to find a job that I have sent over 300 CV's to different job ads and I registered with 8 agencies.
In the past it never took me longer than 2 weeks to find a new job and I can't believe that I have been so unlucky and that this is happening to me. I have even gone pass the stage where I cry my eyes out and stress untill I get a migrane. This is beyond depressing.
Be happy you have a job and don't leave that one until you've found another one.

Hi to all who commented on Daniel's original message. I, however, will not be burdening you all with my sob story, though I will say reading some of the comments were humbling to say the least. I hate my job too but I have one. However, I can appreciate ones difficulty in dealing with a job you detest, I've seen both sides and neither are pleasant. What better to do than continue to search until the right one comes along. If you want to change what makes you unhappy in life, we are the only ones to do it! At least the ones that are proactive in looking can rest at night knowing they are trying. Ask yourself this, "am I trying hard enough"????

i m so lost today that all these comments are hardly getting into ma head. All i know is that today m so desperate for a job that i had to google ' Someone please find me a job'. My dad has retired 5 years back and m still sucking on his money. i have a masters degree in international business with distinction but still job s no where to be seen. As i work harder and harder to get a job i only feel so strongly that luck plays a role too. All ma student life i worked hard with a hope that i would b able to see a beautiful life once m done with ma studies. Since past so many months m just hoping to die soon atleast. I wonder if there is a job out there that pays you for making and/or finding jobs for others...? I am but a curious passerby, who is also jobless. Being very thankful to be roofed by my family, I cannot help but to wonder how the earth holds so many people, yet poverty reaches beyond the third and second world countries and gets to hold a grip on such a significant amount of the first world countrymen and women! Just a note to thank Dr.gboco for your recovery spell that you did for me and my family over the past few weeks. The spell has definitely listened and has given myself and my family, what we call a miracle. My Wife was able to retain her position at the company where she is employed after an extremely close call with the possibility of unemployment after eleven years.
This morning I was called and offered a Teaching position at a Christian School. I had taught many years ago at the public school level. We then moved to California and due to state regulations at the time I was not able to return to the classroom where my heart really was at.

Yep I'm another one 6 March 2012 - who would have thought there were so many, instead of loosing my job last xmas I accepted a 50% pay cut - ouch, still doing the same work.
